Picked some Spinach and Rainbow Swiss Chard. Onions, Garlic and Potatoes any day.
Things are hotting up down here in Cardiff. Once again I had a little helper on hand, who helped with the watering. This week, I have mostly been planting Kale, Cabbage, Broccoli, Yellow Courgettes and Butternut Squash. Note to self, leave courgette and squashes until the end of the month.
Cauliflower, Broccoli and Leeks planted.
Spring is in the air. Sunflowers have shot up, so I think it’s time for more seed sowing. Today I will mostly be planting potatoes (first early) radish and beetroot. A little pest control may also be in order, along with a second layer of paint on the old bench. …
My Brassicas, Red Brussel Sprouts and Cauliflower have sprouted. Just waiting for my Corn, Leeks and Celeriac. Invested in two small polythene tunnels today, so can’t wait to get them up.
A little bit of planting, with some little helpers on hand. Managed to get back for the Cup Final, shame about the result. #YNWA
I’ve just taken delivery of some specialist seeds. Thank you Laura, now i just have to wait a few weeks before they can be sown.
I was fortunate to have a few hours in the morning, to tidy up part of the plot. Now it’s a waiting game, as it’s still a little early for the majority of seeds.
